Front rack mounts

I am looking to install a front rack but I have realized that they are usually not one size fits all. I have noticed what I think is what some riders do is use the brakes stays as mounting points. The bike I am wishing to install a front rack on without them being attached to my front axle has cantilever brakes, is it possible for me to mount a small rack at these points?
Thanks.

Sure thing! You'll probably want to look at Sheldon nuts to minimize interference with the brakes. Velo Orange has at least one rack built to mount to cantilever posts, and there are others out there.

Awesome, Thank you sir! I was wondering whether or not I would need a longer bolt to accommodate for the extra depth. I saw that velo has one the 'canti,' Funny enough. But that answers my question, thanks for the insight! You've saved me precious time and tears. Cheers
