Welcome to BikeForums. I live in south-coastal Delaware and am considering relocating. Southern Tennessee is one of the areas I am interested in. What part of Tennessee do you live in and for how long? I drive a school bus and have 16 days off over Christmas,New year holidays. I am pretty sure I am going to travel to Tennessee to check out some areas. I am getting emails about different areas after requesting info fromt the state. Any info and suggestions are appreciated.

Hello Delbiker1, Welcome to Tn, I am near cumberland gap on the va,tn,ky border, it is a great place to live, nearest larger town is knoxville, I really love this area and have a farm over in va, tn doesnt have a state tax so sales tax is high, so everyone usually goes to ky or va to shop. Let me know if you want my email or need more info.

We do have some gravel but I ride mostly rail trails, we have a very nice 10 mile one, I also ride some of the less used back roads and we also have a nice paved green-way type trail. I also like to paved trails in knoxville and oak ridge. The gravel roads in this area super steep.

Just moved to Tennessee

I am in the process of buying a home in west Tennessee Gleason.
I love the countryside; lots of farms and flat terrain.
Unfortunately the road my house is on is Hwy 190 and is a 55 mph road with no shoulder.
Tennessee in general seems to have lots of nice bike routes.
