I had a white ‘69 1750 GTV and a red Alfetta GT. Fun cars! The ‘69 GTV was the best year with the nicest motor and interior of any year.

Funny this topic has resurfaced! I am, at this moment, going through EVERYTHING I own before a move to the big apple.
I have 15th century combat equipment (I study Fiore) I have a collection of canvas half shelters I like for camping, along with frame packs from the 70’s, milsurp wool clothing from the 60’s-80’s.
I have most of Hamilton’s rail road grade pocket watches, a bunch of Vanson motorcycle coats...
Then stuff from hobbies past, snow camping gear, snowboarding gear, a couple nice longboards (the wheeled kind, one I built myself) rollerblades, motorcycle and all that goes with that...
I have a pretty comprehensive set of Cannondale panniers, three sets of rear, one of front, two bar bags, and one trunk box thing that fits on the top of the rear rack.
It's all very cool stuff, but it's too much. Oh! I have a motorcycle mechanic's tool set, a roll-away, top box, and carry box worth, that I've been supplementing with bike tools.
Writing about it all makes me prepared for ruthless downsizing!

Got this one up and running, 1966 Mustang. Replaced all the brakes and new clutch, etc. Bought it from a 72yo Marine that just couldn't keep up with it.

When your not buying bikes what else are you guys spending your hard earned money on? Two years ago I finally made the commitment of learning how to play guitar. I’ve went through several acoustic guitars before finding the right ones. Now that I’m set I’m finally ready to start looking for bikes again. Where does everyone else’s money go when not buying vintage bikes?

Same guitar addiction here. Starting learning at 50. Broke very (except thumb) metacarpal in my left (fretting) hand in a snowboard crash two years ago and it screwed up my hand bad enough that I can hardly play anymore. Took up mountain biking this year.

It has been a couple of years since I spent some of what I was earning but I designed and built my own stereo amplifier using AM radio station transmitting tubes and 1000Volts to power it. You cannot buy anything like it, the closest you can get is a $350,000 Japanese stereo amplifier which uses the same tubes at about the same voltage. You can build one for well under $2000 and some of my graduate school physics helped along with experience as an aircraft mechanic and practice building my own vacuum tube electronics. It took me two years to perfect it.

Hunting equipment and gear. I got too much camo gear I think now. Good news is a lot of it can be dual purposed for winter Fat Tire biking if you don't mind a little camo and blaze orange look 
Want to crossover my hunting and biking a little more actually as you can cover more ground and carry gear on the bike for some Western hunts. Good for scouting too.

My 1973 MGB GT, a very nice little British coupe that we drive all over the Midwest.
Guitars. I'm not much of a player but I've got 3 to keep callouses on my fingers: a Larrivee acoustic, a D'Angelico acoustic/electric and a Baby Taylor.
Fishing whenever I can find the spare time.
Thank God I don't golf!

I was loaning a vintage bike to a neighbor to ride Eroica and whenever I take someone into my garage there is the inevitable wow factor of restored bikes, frames (in the queue for restoration), wheelsets/tires/tubes, hanging from every conceivable nook and cranny. And what is not immediately obvious are the boxes, cabinets, and dressers full of sorted parts. The other main function of my garage is to store bookcases full of sci-fi. So anyway, I turned to her and said with a laugh, "yeah, and my house is full of guitars."
And btw, I find guitars and bikes similar in the sense that as you ride/play and learn more, you go through an evolution of machines to find out what works and fits best.

I've got a Wenonah Jensen 18. It is way too serious a canoe for me, but I bought it for a song because it had a hole in it. Really annoyed my neighbors fixing it up. The damn thing goes like a torpedo! Here it is on some random island in Boston harbor, during a morning dash from downtown to Cape Hull. What have you got?

I still have a couple of Jensens of older vintage, kevlar, a 16' racing single which needs some glass work at the sharp radius bends, and a 1982 Jensen 18.5' USCA cruiser, in good shape, bent shaft paddles. Either of these is available if interested, I am two hours from Boston. Also have a Mike Galt design Dandy, a solo sports canoe, short and saucy, not for racing,, but for fancy bladework, lots of flare. First time I ever stepped into it, I was swimming in the next micro second. Huge fun.

I used to live in Hull and I have a dear friend that still does. She has a beautiful condo that over looks the bay.

Yeah, Hull Gut is out at the tip of what I was calling Cape Hull (which I guess is not actually called that), but we went south of Peddocks Island and landed opposite Nantasket Beach, near all the resorts and hotels. I think the tidal currents are funny through the Gut so we decided to stay away from that end. It is a gorgeous area, especially when we went there in the off season!
