Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have been using Nuun drink mix, which has a bit of carbohydrates - 60 calories/pint - but mostly for the electolytes, since I can taste the salt I'm excreting as it runs down my face.

I've been tempted to suggest people try Brawndo, instead of water, "You mean, like from the toilet?", but then I don't know how many have seen "Idiocracy".

I refer to my Nuun as Brawndo. People who don't understand show themselves to be people I don't need to be around.
