1977 Schwinn Superior
Selling from Cleveland, OH, 44111
Payment: PayPal or postal money order
Price: 380$ plus shipping.
New price: 330$ plus shipping
24" frame
1976 not 77 as I wrote by mistake in the title.
I think is original including pedal cages and straps, except the tires and bar tape. Missing brake hoods.
Two bolts from the Nervar crank set were missing, i replaced them with others from another crank set.
Light marks from a kick stand.
Comes with original papers, the Cope name on the top tube is of the original buyer who order the decal with his name written with same font and size as the decals of the bike.
See pictures for more details.

Sorry about missing such a important detail.
it is a 24" frame, measured from center of crank to end of seat tube.
But the seat tube is longer, over the top bar with 1", so people consider the frame a 23".

This is a neat bike. I would not mind owning one of the fillet brazed Schwinns one of these days and this is a good one.

Your Superior is a really nice bike but I think it might be a 76. That rear derailleur and color were not offered in 77 but they were in 76. I wish my 78 was your size. Mine is a 21". I fit better on 23" frames. Great bike. Glwts.
What's the number on your head tube?

Is that a Huret rear drop out? I thought those didn't play nicely with non-Huret rear derailleurs?
This bike looks great by the way. It would be a fun bike to own and ride.

Not really. The hanger stop is in the wrong place for most Campagnolo derailleurs. It will work with a Campagnolo Gran Turismo derailleur, though.
It needs the relief on the hanger between 1 o'clock and 3 o'clock to fit the Shimano stop tab.
I thought the Crane GS (like the first gen campy rally) had its own stop?
