Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Everyone would cruise the loop around the mall on weekends, 'til they shut that down in the mid 80s.

A couple of "last cruises" were held...

Lakers fan here too. Or rather LeBron fan. He was born 30ish miles from my hometown. I've followed him throughout his career. Thus I can be a Miami fan too. My question to myself is whose career will I follow next? So many options.
I would appear to be a NE Patriots fan too, but in fact I'm a Bill Belichik fan. Assistant to The Tuna and all.

Although '80s/'90s U2 is among my favourites, I shall not be watching its music videos tonight.

Maybe another Hallmark movie? I am entertained by their cheesiness.

So if you fall asleep watching one and wake up in the middle of another, you don't lose the thread?

Mrs. GeneJockey tried watching Hallmark briefly as a soporific, to counter COVID anxiety-induced insomnia. They worked for that.

In these troubled, uncertain times, I find their predictability to be comforting.

I used to listen to sports talk radio on my drive to work and Keyshawn Johnson was one of the hosts. He had some Tuna stories. He was also very passionate about the subjects they discussed.
Keyshawn also gained a lot of fans when he allegedly slapped Justin Bieber in the face for racing his car in their neighborhood.

They're completely different. The Lifetime genre involves a disturbed individual who preys on an innocent, often unsuspecting victim. Hallmark movies show two people who have a chance encounter and then spend over an hour (of movie) figuring out "actually we do belong together."

Try to keep up.
