old, worn out saddle repair
Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to share my attempt at patching up an old saddle with caulk. It worked, but I'm not crazy about how it looks. I thought maybe someone could offer their past experience, as now I plan to make a vinyl cover for it instead. Thanks

I just don't think that repair will hold up over time, we recover seats with a marine grade vinyl and it only takes about 20-25 minutes. We recover many seats a year this was and seems to be holding up fairly well.
