Just rained, ground is wet, but it stopped raining, and sky is clear. should i go?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No.
1) You have to ask?
2) You're wasting an hour waiting for an answer?

You don't deserve to ride today!

Yes...but on your fendered bike.

I wish to hell someone had given me that advice an hour before I went out on my morning ride yesterday!

Ride and you can go as fast as you like, in a straight path, without any other vehicles or pedestrians around...

However, whenever approaching a redlight or stop sign, always remember to give yourself plenty of road distance in which to stop.

Also, the most dangerous thing you could ever do while riding on a wet surface, is to maintain your same speed while cornering. Always slow down, before turning.

SLOW DOWN LONG BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR TURN!!!

- Slim

Wear rain gear, though...

PS.

Now be off with you! Go Now!!!

If you have to ask, you should stay home.

You might get your crank wet.

SLOW DOWN WHILE TURNING!!!
Actually, slow down and then turn. Braking while turning is a bad idea.

It's been 40 minutes since you posted this. If it stopped raining at time of posting, the ground is dry by now.

The little dog is setting right here bossing me around and playing tug-of-war with me.

Also, as many times as I have been drenched on a bike, snowed on on a bike, hailed on on a bike, dropped on a bike, laughed at on a bike, felt like death warmed over on a bike........wait, where was I going with this????
