What's my '96 Bianchi Mega Ti worth these days?

I appreciate opinions on what this is worth. I don't see many sold in the near past, so I don't know how to price it.
It's ready for sale, just need to put a price on it.
Thanks for your input!

Why would you want to sell it? I love mine it rides almost as nice as my Proto. What happened to the paint on the stays? I think these came with a steel fork.

I may have overpaid for mine but around 2010 I bought a '97 for around $1300 with shipping and it was filthy. But it was/is a serious grail bike. I think I put another $100-200 into overhauling, cables, tires, and unfortunately a new BB apparently late '90s CampI BB are garbage. You don't see these that often so that helps. Are you willing to ship? I think if I were to sell mine I'd put it ebay and ask $1500 and see how many bites I got.

Are there different geographical market differences for the Bianchi Ti Mega? Mine looks like Bianchigirll 's , with different stickers to the OP's. I got mine in CO, USA; it's a 1996, has Campy Record 8 speed (though it was built up as a frame + groupset).

Saw "Mega," clicked this thread half-expecting an oddball Bianchi MTB or something. First pic? Full stop. hahahaha Wow.

That is a super cool bike.

Beautiful bike! I love mine, but I can't ride a saddle any longer, so it's time to sell.

I removed the paint from the stays as they were chipped. I liked the nude Ti look so I did the rear triangle.

I'm willing to ship - not a problem. I'm in South Orange County, CA.

I have a ton of other Bianchi items still (ridden Bianchi since 1987) that I'll list later.

I'm not sure. I haven't looked much at others - you don't see them on the road any longer.

I have never seen a Mega Ti with the raw stays, awesome! I would assume the carbon fork is stock, as the few other examples I have seen all have the same.

I think $1,500 is the sweet spot for this bike. Vintage celeste Ti with full record?? Sweet!

Realistically I see the value a little bit lower.

You only have to sell it once, there is added value of titanium and being a Bianchi, and you can't negotiate up, so 1500usd is as good a starting point as any.

You just might have to be patient.

Thanks - I know I'll have to find that person that wants this bike. It won't be easy.

If I don't sell, I'll keep it for a memento of my youth.

I might be way off but titanium is really popular nowadays and celeste Bianchis have always been sought after....

The only issue I see would be the seat and seat-post, do you have the original matching Campy post?

Judging from your location, I don't think you will have a hard time selling it at all.

I think you should post it up for $2K and see what happens.

Nice bike indeed. I have a later S9 and it's a very nice ride, and I think the money mentioned is spot on.

I have the original celeste seat and Campy post, along with a celeste Silca frame pump. I may sell those separately due to their rarity.

I have quite a bit of Bianchi paraphernalia that I will be listing later.

Thanks for the input!

There are different world markets but all the ones sold in the US should be the same. Now it is always possible that someone's was repainted with different decals, or someone bought one ff ebay or another source that European market or some other market decals.
