Sunglasses for large face
Hey guys. So I've been doing some long day rides under the Cali sun and the sun has been a killer on my eyes. Can any one recommend some good sunglasses for an xl helmet wearer. So far I've been looking at Oakley radars.

Check out Tifosi sunglasses. They work well for me and less than half the cost of Oakleys with the same quality. I have XL melon head and large face.
I bought these cheapies from Amazon and they are surprisingly good for cycling.

I just bought some Oakley EVZero Range glasses. Work well on my largish face. Nice big lenses that wrap, no top frame so nice visibility looking up from the drops....the Prizm Road lenses are amazing for clarity. Standard Oakley complaint about pricing, of course....

I'll second Smith Optics. I've been using them for several years for both athletics and wildland firefighting. My favorite is the Parallel Max. Good sized lenses that are replaceable. They make many different colors that you can pop in and out. Customer service is great and the price is reasonable.

I've been using the regular Parallels (not the Max's) for all my running and road riding for the last five years. Excellent glasses. Ignitor lens is one that covers all the bases. I also have the Prospects for when it's windier (they wrap around more fully).
I take 7 3/8" hat and the Smiths are just fine.

I wear prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. But I keep a clip-on set in the truck, just in case.
Branded as Gentle Grip at Walmart. Lightweight. Every size imaginable is available. Fifteen bucks. Has worked well for me when I forget to bring my prescription sunglasses.

Stop at home depo and try the 3m wrap around. I use the ones from harbor freight which are exactly the same. Yellow for night time to cut on glare and smoke for day. Get both pairs for under $8

If they fit with your helmet the Oakley Oil Rig with the Warm Grey lens is a great choice. It's big, wrap around, offers exceptional protection from debris and looks good, also a bit futuristic. The Warm Grey lens has brighteners in it and everything looks brighter without looking fake. Oakley is worn by lots of professionals and for good reason.

I have a pair of Oakleys as well because of that very reason. I have a larger cranium. They seemed to fit the best. I don't recall the model but I think they were crankshaft. I have RX glasses too. Really like them.
