I recently bought me a Kask. It practically fell into my lap without any shopping effort shortly after reading of a couple strong recommendations on the forums, one by none other than @indyfabz. Seems Mrs BD ordered herself a new helmet online and they sent her an extra large, way too big for her. As she was about to return it I decided I might as well try it on and sure enough, not only did it fit but it's super comfortable just like Indy said. I had no choice but to keep it . . . any time you can find an XL effortlessly and it fits, you don't pass that karma up.

Copying my Facebook post.
It’s been a while, time for another update. I haven’t really been losing much weight since I started riding but I have been getting stronger and I think I’ve been losing some fat and gaining muscle. For the time being I’m okay with that. Once the temps start falling I will concentrate more on the weight loss. Right now I’m making sure I eat enough to ride bikes and I’m just enjoying myself.
Starting weight (10/21/18) - 295 lbs
Current weight (5/29/19) - 217 lbs
Goal weight - 195 lbs
My biggest goal was to get back on a bicycle which I have done. My first ride was on 3/23/19. On 4/13/19 I celebrated three weeks on the bike by riding 60 miles. Then on 5/25/19 I celebrated two months on the bike by riding 100 miles. So far I have ridden 1,102 miles since I started back.

I hate having this crappy immune system, if anyone around me looks sick I get sick. My coworker had a stomach bug the other day, as I result I've had intestinal issues for two days and then last night I was up all night vomiting. I'm currently trying to find the strength to take Ivan to daycare, where hopefully he doesn't bring home a new plague.

I paid $64 for my new helmet. My most expensive yet. Because MIPS. A Bontrager, with a one year crash replacement warranty.

Not that anyone would want to go to Cancun.
It continues to grow. Vertically now. Sad!, I guess.

Here's a grand idea-
Bike Washing Machine : Wash Your Clothes While Riding The Stationary Bike - Tuvie
Maybe they can add a sweat collector to help fill the tank??

Not sure I will hit the milestone before my long weekend trip that starts tomorrow.

Think I've decided on the Burley Minnow it's on sale on Amazon, and ibotta will give me 3% back. 3% is almost one unit of botox when it's on sale. I'll be skinnier and younger all in a day.

Tomorrow is the last day of work for a woman in our NJ office. She's retiring after 49 years with the railroad. She started in 1970. I was 5 year old.
My department's former admin had over 40 years of service when she retired. Started with the railroad right out of high school. All her friends were jealous because it was relatively high paying. He first job was basically pulling carbon paper out of ledgers and forms, alongside a bunch of other girls.

Robbed a pulley from a Tiagra RD but they're thicker than XTR, and neither XTR nor Tiagra bolt was long enough. Bolt from a very lowend RD was just the ticket. All is hunky dory with the Joker once again.
