Not familar with the product you mention. I know that most kids bikes have that safety flag on a stick, maybe you could get those and adapt them to your intended purpose? I have even seen them at WalMart and Target. Best of Luck.

BTW, this is a pretty light hearted place and you set your self up for some kidding with the thread title adn the very vague description.

I'm surprised no one threw something in about ten foot poles, actually .

If you haven't checked it out though, you may want to check the Commuting forum.

Post #12 has an interesting link for the product.

Thanks, Sharr.

I didn't have any details, but i've seen them referred to on this forum, to establish more space in traffic. I don't know if they were jerry-rigged or there's a commercial product.

The fiberglass pole your looking for can be found in farm supply stores like this.
https://www.kencove.com/ShopDetail.php?recordID=F38-4Y

Cut to the length and thread the end with a 3/8 fine thread die.
You will need a spring for it. Get a light duty CB antenna spring with 3/8" threaded hole on one end like this.
https://www.walcottcb.com/firestik-ss...ing-p-584.html

Use an antenna mount like this to attach to the spring and your seat stay.
https://www.walcottcb.com/hm1-horizon...ket-p-284.html

Go to a fabric store and purchase Bright Orange flag material. Most of them will sew it up for you for a few extra dollars and glue it to the end of your pole.

Thanks, but i would rather buy the unit as made by the guy in Cali. For some reason his code is missing from the site (he wants a code typed in, not enough to just have his email address loaded with X's. Heavy security. Did i miss them on the Velo site?

I don't have a rack, otherwise that would work well. My bike is in the shop, so i can't visualize if it would work duct-taped to the stays?

That looks like a target. Hey, maybe the rednecks will aim their beer cans for that instead of me!
