What does the term "H.B.W. ends" mean in the Miyata specs?
The 88 Miyata catalogue lists the Valley Runner frame as having:
"Cr-Mo Spline Triple Butted, H.B.W. ends". What does H.B.W. mean?
And while I'm here:
The fork is : "Cr-Mo, TL ends"....what does TL mean?
Thanks

Both are dropout models. The TL was Tange's forged front dropout with dual eyelets. The HBW was a forged rear dropout, with a short horizontal axle slot, adjusters and dual eyelets.
