First Bug of the Year

Howdy,
So, I'm on a job site in northern California, Walnut Creek, where the weather is significantly better than back home in Salt Lake City.
During a ride on one of the infinite number of bike paths in the area, The Contra Costa Canal trail on my Kona I consumed my first bug of this season. It was a soft fuzzy one and pretty much went down before I got to taste the silly thing.
I am amazed at how many bike paths there are around here, and so far most motorists are polite and bike friendly. Salt Lake could take a big lesson from this area.
