Why do I get ads on mobile site with paid membership?
I like the idea of a mobile interface, but the one you've introduced is slower than the regular site.
At least part of the reason for this is on the mobile site, I get ads (I thought this was why I was paying for membership...). Why?

I've got the same problem. I just got a smartphone (Android OS) and logged onto BF without a problem, but the ads are everywhere.

I have a smart phone, but don't browse the web with it. When forum sniping, I like using a laptop or pc running Firefox with Adblock and I never see ads EVER!

It's a known issue, but I'll flag this thread so that the "powers that be/tech team" can look into it.
If it helps, I get the ads to whenever I use the mobile skin, I get the ads as well- doesn't matter which OS and browser combo I use. I've found the best workaround is to use the full site mode (even if does mean more scrolling).

Using Silk browser on Fire HD7, I don't see ads with "full site" but do with "default mobile style".
Same goes for Chrome on Android 4.2.2.

I have never heard of Silk, but I thought Fire was an e-reader.
But why are you still using JELLYBEAN? 5.0 has been around since last November.
I know why I'm using Windows 7 (no money to buy new machines) but don't they just about give you a new phone every so often at certain carriers?
EDIT: I don't have mobile anything, my information needs are better served by research, blind luck and an AM radio with me on my bike.

2. I cracked the screen on my beloved Nexus 7 running 5.1 a few days ago and since the Fire doesn't support the Google goodies I use- Hangouts/Voice, +, Fit, Drive and not to mention the vast majority of my multimedia is on Google's servers, I'm having to make do with my wife's old Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.

Can you tell me if you are still seeing ads on mobile, and if so, report what device and browser you're using?

No ads with the "default mobile style" selected on the following:
-Windows 8.1: Chrome, Opera, and Firefox (I don't touch IE unless I have to).
-Chrome on Android Jellybean.
-Silk on Fire OS.
I'll check the Windows Phone in the morning.
ETA: Opera Mini (beta) was ad free on WP 8.1.
IE on WP 8.1 kept crashing...

I had been getting ads on my 3yo HTC smartphone running Ice Cream Sandwich and using its default browser. The ads are gone
