Is this a good wheel deal?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is this a good wheel deal?

Always risk someone grabbing it but I don't know if this is a good wheel deal?

How can anyone say an open auction is a good deal - who knows what the winning price will be? However, a 10 second search found them for $500 on sale. Perhaps if you get them near the starting price then it would be a good deal.

Looks like it. Looking at completed auctions, sets have failed to sell at $400 and $450.

My mistake, thought it was a buy it now. So I take it that Easton Tempest II for $450 delivered is not a good deal?

I don't see a better price on those wheels. Seems like a good deal to me. Dunno why the other sets didn't sell in the completed auctions.

I think the price is good. Of course GVH was just clearing out the last of his for $400 last week, but I ordered his last set. I did not see any other prices even close to this. Can't comment on the wheel quality since it will be here tomorrow but I thought it was worth it.
