Thinking of wrapping a frame in Handlebar tape, any thoughts
Well I have been thinking about a project I am working on and was thinking about wrapping the hole frame in handlebar tape....any thoughts on this and if it has been done please post a pic....

Bar tape is not cheap and the amount to wrap a bike frame entirely is a lot especially if it's an aerodynamic frame...

Despite all the negative criticism, I think you should try it out and see for yourself. People differ in taste and perhaps you / your friend might actually dig the outcome. I would recommend you to try the Cinelli Lumen bar tape (glows in the dark), it might make for an interesting concept.

I wrapped the toptube of my 722 with black parachute cord. It looks great and protects the paint...
