Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

"1 On It" - The Singlespeeder's New Anthem?

Sing it on your next SS ride. It makes you go faster.

I like the guy with a geared bike ripping up that hill past them at 3:48.

This video gives fixed gear/single speed riders a bad image.

Normally not a fan of auto-tune, but here's a case where it was needed. Video editing was good..

YEs!

Cruiserhead - yep, that's me!

Guy ripping uphill at 3:48 had a Singulated singlespeed, not a geared bike.

Auto-tune - I tried it, but it actually sounded worse than just singing obnoxiously without it.

Hahah, I had to look him up, and that was the video I watched. Just ****ing rides on his rear wheel everywhere. Someone just buy the kid a unicycle already.

Would it be better if my first post was "Hi guys!! I'm a singlespeeder too! Cool! This forum looks cool! Yeah. Let's talk about cool singlespeeds. I'm new. Flame the newb! hahah! LOL ROTFL. You guys are awesome."

Or maybe

"Hi guys, I'm new here. I have a question about singlespeeding. Do you guys use derailleurs? What's the best gear ratio?"

Rather, I though maybe an obnoxious video about singlespeeding would be a better introduction to get the haters hating and people who appreciate a bit of humor laughing. Looks like it worked! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go ride.

Hopefully something is put together next year, I will definitely track you down! LOL

Great work on the video, funny and it's tough to put something together like that.
