Help! My Eroica California registration vanished.

Has anybody had this happen to them? I signed up for early registration way back on October 2 and received a confirmation email and a charge to my PayPal account on October 3. I just clicked the link on the confirmation email and it sends me to a place to sign in or register for MyEroica. It also said something about the credentials for the old "YourEroica" being the same as those for "MyEroica". There was no password for that site in my 1Password app so apparently I didn't previously register for either the YourEroica or MyEroica account. So, I created a new account using the email that I used for the original registration and now there is no registration on my Eroica page. I'm also concerned that my friends who signed up at the same time as me may have this issue. Anybody been through this...if so, what's the best solution?

I think there was a thread on Classic Rendezvous on Eroica registration problems some time ago, I would check there.

Couldnt find mine on the new site either, so I emailed the new site folks (not the Wes at Ca site)

i did have my paypal transaction info and sent that along.

They got back to me in a day or so and had it restored.

Sounds like the Goverment has been put in charge of registration.

Hey Dave, I went through the same thing a couple weeks ago. Finally contacted them with my original reg. number and it was sorted out. I also needed to refresh my browser (log out, log in) as nothing would show up in the My Story page until I did. If I didn't like the ride so much I would be complaining about how they (mis)manage the whole affair. Looking forward to Marinica! Alex

I sent them an email with my original confirmation number and they straightened it out.

You know... BITD... we used to have to send (USMail) a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope to a ride organizer to request an entry form, and then they would send the blank form to us in the SASE (USMail), and then we would have to send the completed form back with a paper check, and there would be no confirmation prior to the day of the ride. You'd show up at the reg table and they'd have one of those big spreadsheets with the green and white lines and hopefully your name would be on there somewhere.

So I'm glad that element of the old days doesn't apply to the ride where we celebrate the old days.

I had some trouble a few weeks ago and just gave up! I sent an email off and was told to try again. That didn't work. Getting close to the date so I decided to give it one more shot, it worked great (finally) . I am set to go. Even sent off an email and was acknowledged right away. They seem to have sorted out the issue. See you all there! Joe

Well looks like mine is screwed up too. You think if I just show up with my PayPal receipt I’ll be OK?

So originally when I logged on to the new My Eroica site, my registration did not show on the Home page. I logged in after reading this thread today and it still isn’t displayed on the Home page, but on the My Eroica Story page it shows a “download module for pick up race number”....so I’m guessing that’s my registration.

It that what you all are seeing?

That's what I'm seeing, in a red box just under the route I chose. I'm expecting at some point they will link to the download module, just not yet. if it's not working within a week or so of the event I'll be asking them again.

Ok, thanks. I emailed some time ago and asked about it, but never received a response. It’s possible I sent it to the wrong site

Cross posted from the Eroica CA thread

Eroica registration update in "New Portal" at www.myeroica.cc
Even if you registered before, you have to go to the NEW PORTAL at https://myeroica.cc and RE REGISTER. New account. Your existing login will not work.

Wes has nothing to do with it. this is the back end registration portal for the Eroica organization worldwide. Unfortunately they did not port the login info, probably because they could not export the (hashed) passwords.

Create a new account using the same FIRST name, LAST name and DATE OF BIRTH that you used before. Those are the matching criteria for your existing reservation. Remember this portal uses the European convention for dating - DD / MM / YYYY Date first then month.Make sure that those three things are exact match.

Then, log out and log in and look under "my eroica story" and you should see your registration / reservation sitting there. If not, email service@eroica.cc and they will help you.
