It’s a 1000, not a 1000LT.

The LT came later and had some better features.

Very nice. Great condition. I think that's worth $500 to $700 depending on your market. But, it's tough selling vintage bikes lately. So, who knows what's going on. Be good. Have fun.

As usual, it depends. Plenty of info in the stickies for reading so I won't repeat it. To maximize profit take off the Brooks saddle and put a cheap xyz on there. It's a personal fit item and it won't work for everybody so a $70 saddle does not make the bike worth $70 more, IMO. The market is soft, it's almost winter. Adjust expectations accordingly.

I would agree on taking the saddle off and putting a different one on the bike for sale. As for the price $500-700 is a bit optimistic for a early 80's 1000 version of this bike with DT shifter's as said the later 1000 LT's were nicer bikes with better features and nicer components. That said the bike is in very nice ride ready condition so I would put the value at about $400 give or take a bit depending on market.
