Day 1 Of Riding Season

Today! Sure, it will rain and maybe snow next week, but today (TODAY) I'll get out on the bike and ride! I'm so excited.

MAYBE ..... just maybe this will motivate me to ride the dreaded trainer on the days (many coming for about a month) I can't ride outdoors. I have a whole different bike on the trainer, what's my excuse?

Sounds like Ohio is about like Nebraska! I am planning to get on my bike today for the first time since December. This winter has been brutal -- 4 feet of snow, record cold last week (high temps below 0 degrees F a couple days).

Like others I've read on this site, I really do not like doing indoor riding (I have an AirDyne, not a true bicycle trainer), but I will force myself to do it at times over the winter. So much nicer to get outside, on a real bike!

I'd say Nebraska is a bit worse! We do have ping-pong weather for a while but I don't think we get it, when we get it, like Nebraska.
