Extensive list of Top Cap Types?
I know that there are the standard 1 1/8" threadless headset top caps out there, and that some people put designs on them, and some people have put watches or compasses or other gadgets on them. I know that there apparently are knurled caps, but haven't seen an example. I've seen the headset cap/screw combos that allow the brake housing to pass through the fork on the way to the front brake (usually front disc). What other types of top caps are out there? Does anyone have a collection of example photos?

The only top cap that you need, the only one that matters:
All other top caps shudder in its presence.

What kind of bike have you seen that on with disc brakes? I've seen BMX freestyle bikes with it (combined with a cable detangler for the rear brake to allow barspins without fouling the cable), but it's always run to either a sidepull brake or a U-brake, as no BMXer would want a disc brake (they'd bend the rotor doing grinds)

I've seen ads announcing a top cap with a built in bracket to hold a headlight or a cyclometer mount but don't know if it ever made it to market.
