Nice Score! From an incoming phone call!

Hey guys
Pretty cool thing happened this week. I met a guy two months ago at a local hang out and it turned out he was a customer of mine back in the 80s where I worked called Action Cyclery. He told me he had a bunch of bicycles one being a Mark Gorski training bike. I gave him my card and he didnt call me till today! I went to look and he had a frame that Mark gorski gave him in the 80s. Im still verifiying that. But he did have some parts to sell. I purchased the whole grouppo. I never in my life had such a good deal land in my lap.

Full Super Record group including Unitcanter saddle, Cinelli bar and stem. Wheels laced with Open 4 CD rims in good shape etc. Check it out. He also through in a Dura Ace 7sp freewheel and uniglide chain.

Mark Gorski was a real gentleman. Very mature for his age back in our Junior racing days.

Mark in CRCofA jersey starting line of Boul Mich Bike Rally, Chicago 1976 or 77.

Nice haul. The important thing is that they are in good hands and good things will happen to them. Even if some will be put in a showcase for now.

Playing some wheel roulette.....

The wheels from this haul are going on the Red Colnago, The colnago wheels are going on my Mercian Vincitore, The Mercian wheels are going on my 73 International. So it works out..lol

The rest of the parts may make its way onto a Lotus Competition frameset. Im just in need of a seatpost binder bolt that is unique to a lot of Japanese frames in the 80s.

He was a local guy. Seen him a couple times. Shopped at Gorski's grocery too. LOL

Hopefully they will be put back into classic riding. I would love to use those pedals in the Eroica CA.
