Just got back from the CR seminars, and Dave was one of the speakers! He not only talked about bikes and British culture, etc, but also sang a few songs for the crowd (and played guitar).... pretty cool!
Here's a quick shot from the seminar (he's in front of a large mirror, just in case anyone is wondering).

Steve in Peoria (but not right now... of course)

IMHO a Brooks with Campy and steel is always very presentable.

Perfect weather and quiet country roads for the most part. It got into the nineties latter on. The hills were a lot taller than I remember but the 14-28 FW helped get it done.

Thank you for the thread. I have never attended, although my Capo Modell Campagnolo is shown on the website, under Austria.

"Never a camera around when I should use one" seems to be a family motto. Wonderful bikes to stop and admire but no pics from me. Sorry! Hope those BF'ites that did go can throw up their pics. Dale should start posting the show pictures on the CR site once he wakes up from his event exhaustion.

Did get a nice haul of parts for projects waiting at home and a frame on the way.

I wish they would present the awards about midway through the thing instead of the end...so I could go back out and examine the winning bikes among all the many others. I'm sure I saw them all but it's hard to examine every single one.

I managed to take over 500 pictures at the swap meet and bike show... and a few might even turn out well enough to let others see them. It'll take time to get them edited and labeled, but I'll post a notice when they are ready.

In the meantime.. here are a few from the Baylis display:

a couple of shots of the swap meet tables....

and a couple of pictures of the room... or at least an attempt to show the whole place...

enjoy!

Peter Weigle - several of his bikes, amazingly enough his frame #1 and frame #2 were brought by their current owners and were in the show. (built about 1977)

Thanks again for all of the wonderful pics.

They're really great.

David- Congrats on the awards and I think you've made a great choice going with a Chapman.

His list will continue to grow. He's really got a great vibe and he's earning every accolade.

Hey 3speed,

Nice riding with you and Vance. Sorry I didn't bump into either one of you the rest of the day. Great bike show and decent hunting for spare parts. I bought a few small parts that I needed, and sucessfully avoided buying a whole lot more that I really didn't need (but wanted badly).

Thanks to Dale BRown. Great weekend!
