My PX10?? Mock up.
I have looked closer at this bike and saw a few things that should have been obvious....
the bottle braze ons are rivnuts
The under the bottom bracket cable guide is aftermarket.
The rear mech cable stop has been moved. Brazed well enough but not beautiful.
The paint job is cheap rattlecan.
All that being said its still a reynolds 531 db frame as near as i can tell. Simplex dropouts, 28mm seat tube and 26.4 seat post. Plus cool lugs. So i decided to do the thing i do to bikes, which is make them work for my decrepit old body.
so far this is what i got...
Seat tube rivnuts
Downtube rivnuts
Campy fd doesnt mind a 40 tooth ring!
Simplex dropout and suntour gt
Lovely rhm saddle!
Basic idea. Those are 23.8 dia bars so barends will be installed

Dynamo up front! I like.
May I suggest a taillight and internal cable routing through fork and frame? I mean since someone's already drilled the frame full of holes for rivnuts and cable guides, what's one or two more?

Now that is wall-climber gearing!
What is the low, 24/40?

Cool bike! I love the Nervex lugs! Did you tap the simplex dropout to accommodate the suntour derailleur?

Hoo-wee that stem is in nosebleed territory! I have a 71 PX-10 that is way too small for me but has enormous personal meaning. Our apartment is maxed out with 3 bikes so it's in our storage unit but I hate the idea that it's idle. I used it for a year as a commuter but I feel like there's something else I should do with it.
