Military Surplus bags for rear rack?

Anyone using Military bags for carrying your stuff? Pics would be nice.Found some older nice ones I might put on.

Looks like the Pletscher and I'd highly recommend. I had one and your comment really nails it. I loved it on my AWOL but the frame cracked and the Diverge Specialized is sending doesn't have a mounting plate for one. It's going to be a big adjustment to not have the kickstand any more.

Sorry I don't have an on-topic comment about Military Surplus bags, but those on your bike look great!

Here is a link to a recent thread where i have some pictures and a description that detailed converting military musette bags into rear panniers. I used them for years while commuting before giving them to my son for continued use.

There is tons of DIY for using military surplus bags on the web. Some have even using larger bags as handlebar bags or panniers.

Thanks to this thread, I just bought ten of these at $3.99. I'm thinking panniers, handlebar bag, seat bag, who knows. I have lots of bikes with places for bags.
