NHmtb,
Why not just replace the cups in the hub? I have a Record hub shell here that had the spoke holes tear out and I saved the shell. I can pull the cups and polish them and all you will need to do is the changing of the cups. PM me, or call 812-336-dave. Far easier than tearing the wheel apart and building a new wheel. Smiles, MH

I am looking for a few small freewheel mounting spacers. You know the ones that go behind the FW before you thread it on? Or ar ethey actually for fixed cogs? Some people also use them as fixed cup spacers.

Thanks

Seeking a used 36h rear hub motor, preferably brushless. Doesn't have to be pretty at all. Not particularly picky, but it'd be nice if it can be respaced for 120mm dropouts and has a band or roller brake fitting on the left side. Would prefer trades, as I'm trying to build up an e-bike out of spares for a friend.

He likes symmetry and wants his cable to go over the front of the handlebar like the right shifter does.

It's to match this right shifter.

Thanks and cheers
I have a LH shifter that's not an exact match (it does not have any part number only "Shimano Singapore and "PI" stamped on the brite plated (not black painted) steel clamp. It has a very similar plastic handle to the 200GS shown and is friction-only. Free for the cost of postage if you want it (PM me)

I'm adding these 2 pix of the shifter I have for free/cost of shipping. If MieleMan declines it then Digger Goreman can have it.

Wanted:

Unfluted 27.2 seatpost. Prefer 2 bolts, but not going to be super-picky. Rider quality is fine.
Braze on Front derailleur. Prefer older Shimano.
8-speed shifters (friction ok) for bar end, or Shimano brifters.

Have:

Various stuff. Ask and I'll see if I have it.

ISO: Two 700c forks for basic projects: one with ~ 210mm (8.3") steerer (59cm frame) and the other with ~ 182mm (7.2") steerer (57cm frame). Frames are red and orange and lugged, but I'm not picky.

HAVE: The spoils of modest hoarding.

ISO: One of these somewhat cheesy, modern Raleigh square-taper cranksets:

EDIT: Even better - if someone has a black version of this crank from a 2005/6 Raleigh PUB, that'd be ideal:

Would an Record 27.2 without hardware get you started? Might have a rough 27.2 Super Record here too.

Unfortunately, I don't have spare cradle fittings. Complete and rough is ok though.

afterthought (should have been up front)

I have a tapered seatpin on the bicycle in question and the saddle clamp just doesn't hold. If someone has a viable saddle clamp that would hold a Brook-ish saddle from slippage when I sit on the nose, or press back on the saddle, I believe that would also do in lieu of an entire seatpost.

BG, search for STURMEY ARCHER HMW-127 on eBay. They're 1.6mm wide and made of steel.

DO NOT USE aluminum spacers, here's why:

Aluminum spacers work fine behind fixed BB cups but not behind a freewheel. I've squished a number of them out honking up a hill out of the saddle!

Good thing you pointed that out. Bianchigirll - two of the ones I've put in the package for you are aluminum. One is steel and was removed from a factory-installed freewheel. That one should work.

I have a 14-28 Regina Gran Sport 5 speed, English thread in rider condition.

I'd like a 13-26 Regina Gran Sport 5 speed, English or Italian thread in rider condition.

-longish 26.4mm seatpost for Mt. Fuji
-27.0 seatpost for my new Sequoia, Nitto, Sugino or SR, something nice?

Its a non bike persons thinking:
A. I don’t care if I hurt the bike.
B. They gave me all this extra threading on the bolt, why not use it up!

I think I can help you with both of those. I've got a Origin8 26.4 seatpost (modern but silver) that's something like 400mm. I think I also have a 27.0 LaPrade seatpost.

ISO: The missing link(s)

4 links of (nickel?) plated Regina solid links to make this hollow-pin chain long enough for me to use . 5-7 speed, I believe.
For trade:
Good Record, NR bits/clamps etc, Shimano 600 stuff, one (very worn) pound of flesh...

Solid connecting links for ensuring proper chain length were removed from this chain (incorrectly) at some point. The black version is an nos example for comparison.
