Haro Escape' 20" ChroMoly
** SOLD ** SOLD SOLD SOLD
I breifly thought of making this into a 700c wheels drop bar bike that would require the search for Chorus Monoplanor extra long reach brakes and I am in no mood for that.
So here is your chance top own a fabulous 20" ChroMoly steel mountain bike with a longer wheelbase, unless it was just the 26x1.25 tires that made it look long. The headset is 1 1/8" threaded so it seems to me the wheel base would have been shorter for a '90? Biike pedia doesnt goback past '93 but that model has a suspension fork so I know it is older than that.
For the most part the frame is in great shape except for the slight chain rub on the stay from the ham fisted previous owner. I stripped off the stock kit and built it as a grocery/errand bikt but never really used it much.
Included is the frame/fork, seatpost, saddle, HS, stem and GT stem mounted cable hanger. All this for a mee $39.99 plus actual shipping (OH I need to source a box so shipping may be delayed a day or two) I can include the Shimano alloy cantilevers for an additional $15
Payment via PayPal fiends and dysfunctional family at BianchiGirLL@yahoo.com. I may consider a money order but please absoulutely no second party out of state personal payroll checks.
This frame features 'high wire' cable routing but the pulley allows you to use a conventional FD

Not sure about the sizes,
If a 30” inseam will be able to straddle that top bar with 26” wheels I am interested in it and the cantilevers.
thanks.
thanks.

Hmmm good question. I am not quie sure how to answer this. Unfortunately I don't have wheels to measure the stand over height. I have roughly a 32" inseam and I was able to stand over this with the typical MTB clearance of about 5"+/-

Sounds good!
If not sold, and you can ship to FL, I’m in!
it will fit in nicely with my stable of 1990s bikes.
