Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So you adopted your son from Ethiopia? Before my time, I missed that art of the story.

Maybe this will get me in the mood. Just add a balaclava + cycling shoes and you're ready to roll.

Kudos on running. My knees won't allow me to run. But that is ok because running is stupid, so I hear. How is anyone going to throw back beer, pizza and donuts if you are consumed with many activities?

The run was at a brewery, so there was beer at the finish.

Then he starts walking directly towards our table in the packed restaurant. I'm watching this happen and when he gets to the table, I expected him to say something. Instead, he reaches out and tries to grab my wife by the throat. The cops later told us they thought he was trying to kiss her, but strangling someone first is an odd way to kiss someone.

I grabbed him by the collar of his Members Only jacket and started pushing him backwards through the other tables. Plates and food were flying. It ended when he flipped over a chair and I rammed his head into the floor. The Foreign Minister was apparently dining in the restaurant so I was surrounded by black suited dudes.

When I later asked what would happen to the guy, they said they would probably shoot him. We requested that not happen.
I remember.

Everyone thinks they have had a long strange trip, until they look at other folks journey. Then they realize everyone has had a long strange trip, just using different modes of transportation.

Clearly acceptable reason to run. A bonus shall be awarded if it was recovery beer.

How would I go about adding this as a quote in my sig line? And would you mind if I used this?

Marcell Ozuna was running back to the dugout yesterday after tossing a ball in the stands. My pals were yelling at him and pointing to this little kid that looked to be four or five with a mitt on as big as him. When he took the field the next time, he brought a ball out and put it in the youngsters glove. I was smiling and enjoying that moment so much, I forgot to take a picture. That's OK, as I'm still smiling about it.
