They fit on my Nano, real snug but no problems. But I didn't like the road noise they made and switched to Primo Comet 1.5 inch.

I just saw your reply.
Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. Road noise, huh? I hadn't thought of that... something to think about before I buy new tires...I have been wanting fatter tires for a while, but I am a bit torn because the Schwalbe Marathon 1.5's I currently have are pretty quiet and that makes for a nice ride...IDK worst case I'll not like them and try different ones...🤷

I switched my recumbent's tires from marathons to comets and it felt like a different bike. The marathons had been through at least one previous owner, maybe two, and due to neglect of the wheels had worn in a pattern that made them lumpy when on a round and true wheel so the comparison probably isn't fair but the comets are nice.

I did find a 130mm hub wheel on Thorusa that is a Dahon replacement. Went from 32 spokes to 28, hope it holds up.

Panaracer HP406 20x1.75 Skinwall Tires
I just ran across these tires randomly on the internet and was wondering if anyone had tried them out. I love the look of gumwall/Skinwall tires. Not a lot of information out there about these tires. I thought I would check with you guys here to see if anyone had any info on them. I have run panaracer paselas on other bikes and found them to be really nice riding tires.

Could you cold set it to widen the rear triangle a bit to get them to fit?
I wouldn't suggest doing it yourself if you haven't done it before but rather have a lbs do it for you...

DarkRock MiniVelo from AliExpress
I was wondering what y'all thought of this DarkRock V22 Ferry Trail MiniVelo with 22inch wheels.
4130 cro-mo frame, tektro brakes/levers, double walled rims. It seems decent from what I can tell.
I have been looking for a MiniVelo for my wife and I this this might be my best option. I have also looked at the Orbea Katy 40, there seem to be only a few available for sale and that's about it. Any info or opinions are welcomed.https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/ceZJeJpq]DarkRock V22 Ferry Trail MiniVelo[/url]

I thought that as well but
Then looked it up and read a couple of places that 22 inch wheels are gaining a little momentum because people want the small wheel like a 20 inch but also want better sustainable speed that a larger wheel provides and that the 22 inch wheel is the compromise.

O am thinking of having a set of wheels built up...
And I am looking at the SunRingle Rhyno Lite rims they are 27.5 width. The Jalco rims on the nano are 22.2 there should be plenty of room for this rim to work laced to either a 100mm front and 130mm rear Tiagra hub.
I was also looking at the SunRingle CR-18 406 20 inch rims but after scouring the internet for info and reviews of both rims I believe the Rhyno lites to be a bit better quality rim. I am not trying to slight the CR-18's but judging from reviews about the Rhyno Lites strength and ability to stay true it just seems they are a little bit better although a tiny but heavier.
From the listing pictures does anyone see any reason these rims won't work for the Nano?

The rim you listed says 406 which is a 20 inch rim? I have a Moulton with odd sized small tires and I paid more for the tires than the bike and still had to restore it. Should replace the rims but they are also hard to find and are 3 times the bikes worth plus spokes. Basically I try to not buy bikes with odd tires. Roger

406's are more of a BMX rim/wheel but my Mini velo, the Mercier Nano, utilizes 406 rims, I think because BMX bikes are more prevalent in the US therefore more options would be available to US buyers.
That being said it seems most BMX bikes utilize a very wide rim/tire so as a Nano owner I have to be mindful of rim width as the nano can only take a tire as wide as 1.75 inches, that shouldn't matter too much but I am trying to be overly cautious before purchasing handmade wheels

A question to all who have a Nano. What is the circumference of the seat tube. I am thinking of using a RSX group on a Nano and need to know if the band will fit around the seat tube.
Thanks for the info!

I've had fun with seatposts. Nano is 29.2
Common seat post sizes
27.2 mm = 1.07inch = 1 1/16
28.6 mm = 1.125984 = 1 1/8
30.4 mm = 1.19685 = 1 13/64
31.8 mm = 1.252 = 1 1/4
33.9 mm = 1.335inch = 1 21/64 (close to 1 5/16)
Seat posts I have
Hummer 27.2
Raleigh 20 28.6
Nano 29.2
Downtube 30.4
Urbana 31.8 21inch – 550 - Shimmed
Urbana 33.9 shimmed to 31.8
Common shim sizes
33.9 - 27.2
33.9 - 31.8

The Nano Is Back!
Got a sales message from BD and purchased a 53cm black one. Eager to empty my project box on this one! It’s going brifter, full group RSX as much as I can.

Since it seems to be a rainy day, I will slow down on the build. Impressed with the packing job! No issues with this frame so far!
I am also impressed with the waste, reuse and recycle footprint.

You may want to check wheel and headset bearings...mine had only minimum grease and that resembled Vaseline. I think there was zero grease in the bottom bracket as well, which isn't good in terms of removing it later. Grease is cheap so it is puzzling why they would skimp on a little grease.

-BB is a cartridge now
-dropout hanger is not replaceable
-promax for the brakes
-Shimano Sora blk for rear, Claris blk for front
here are some parts for the upgrade.

I do like the black frames although mine is Orange. Even though I have the 53 cm frame, I opted for bull horns to stretch out a bit. Othere changes included a 27.2 seat post witha shim, SPDs, 12-32 sprocket, s a Brooks saddle and a Nitto technomic stem.
