Classic Bike Shops
I was just thinking of a sticky where we post our favorite bike shops, put the state and the town in the title so that when I'm planning my next road trip I can stop in and check the place out.
Off the top of my head, I'd list the Old Spokes Home in Burlington VT. or There's this cranky old guy who has about a half an acre just this side of Cape Cod with a little shack and the place is piled 2 deep in old bike. he spends his summers sitting on the front porch sipping iced tea and waiting for folks like me to come down the road.

Portland; Veloce on Hawthorne/32nd , cool used bikes, great folks inside.
Seattle: Elliot Bay Cycles north of Pike's Place Market. Awesome collection of old bikes hung from the ceiling, always something new to see. Bob, co-owner, had a set of NOS correct bolts for my Campy 3-bolt Gran Sport (NR bolts don't fit) crankset...gave 'em to me for $5, and those things are unobtanium.

RRB Cycles in Kenilworth, Illinois. Strike up a conversation with Ron. Before you know it 1/2 a day is gone. And rarely does he talk about bikes. Better than a trip to your shrink.

Here's that guy down by Cape Cod. I had to dig a little to find it or I'd have put it up to begin with.
A&A Bike Shack
Roland J. Andrews SR.
385 Wareham Street
Middleboro, MA
02346
508 947 6727
open afternoons 1pm-5pm
I picked up a pair of prewar Raleigh club bikes and I know he's got a Schwinn Super Sport fading away back there.
I'd also recomend Cody and Tobin's Recycling in New Bedford. There's always something interesting on that pile and they just want scrap value.

Hi all,
I picked up vintage old new stock stuff at Alan's Bicycles when I was in Pennsylvania. He also sold some used stuff. Small selection but very nice.
