Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

9 spd Campy Drivetrain

I have been running the original Veloce chain on my bike for over 5000 mi. I can barely measure any wear. Seems like I should stick with a Campy chain but they are much more expensive than SRAM. Any thoughts on what to buy?

Philosophical divergence, here! Do you regard a chain as a component investment (Campy or Wippermann) or as an expendable, high wear item (SRAM)? Either approach will work, but think what will make you happy.
