Going to be a wild one tomorrow! Threw a team together quick, might go back and second guess. Riders that do well in attritional races + funky weather and good handling in crits. Picked Sean Quinn and Ben Healy, thinking Powless may be used to that scene too.

I'm a little bitter that MD was not in the Superclasico mix. Skjelmose was looking large and in charge on the curb, despite being surrounded by his posse in the Orange Julius / Lidl-Trek kit.

Speaking of those guys, Mads' no show at Bretagne didn't do me any favors.

I'm doing my finest no show here - but weird Maryland wasn't in super clasiqe? Skjelmose is quite the talent! In Bretagne Großshartner for third huh? Interesting.

I threw together a team for the Franco-belge, I might catch this tomorrow if it's on GCN, should be on Eurosport. Sounds punchy at the finish, I wonder how Philipsen will do?

I've been snoozing and you took advantage, semroc !

I think your crushing performance at Il Lombardia did more damage to me than my missing making an entry to some of the lesser races. Well played.

I've been off traveling the world. Amongst other attractions, adventures, and oddities, I managed to connect with diphthong in Barcelona and raise a glass within spitting distance of the 2023 Vuelta TTT course here. It's a small world. And an interesting one.

I'm counting on my miraculous Jeane Dixon picks pulling me through in the bitter end. I think I can cling to the podium despite canam73's ability to pull rabbits out of hats. I have 89 points to close in the Veneto Classic to jump up a step. I may have to stick a few pins in the semroc voodoo doll.

holy moly...superclasico finishes up like now man. one race left. will be lucky to claim 5th overall. great season of cycling performances and the corresponding stories.

still can't believe slcbob and i actually managed a meet and greet with mrs. slcbob and miz diphthong in attendance. they hadda blast. we, who can barely pick riders on time
in superclasico, were just collateral cannon fodder. trust the expedition was as exciting and fulfilling as promised. we enjoyed dinking and dunking on the fly in españa and gaul.
looking to return same time next year but with the bike to avoid renting a skanky 30 lb mtb for giggles. costa brava region was the fave-esp the little town of cadaqués. some good riding
around them parts.

Strong top <2% performance by stoic Keka76. I remain convinced he is in this league only because of a typo a few years ago while hunting for the insider Slovenian deep cuts mini league.

I was duly pipped for #2 by a deserving competitor, semroc . Well played.

Two non-picks that would have dragged me back a step instead give me plenty of action and inaction to ponder over the off-season.

See y'all in the spring after the mega merger dust settles and I ride off a surplus of creme Catalan.
