You mention 4K video? I read that 4K requires 110GB per hour. So you will need 660GB. About 2/3 TB. Thats a lot.

Actually, it depends on the codec -- some RAW setting can double the amount of data. However, those amounts of data are typically not available at this level of camera.

I have no idea where you're getting your information from but the truth is that these action cams using compressed data from tiny sensors are nowhere near those data rates.

The highest quality footage from a Gopro, 4k. using their "it's as close as we can get to RAW" aka Protune, maxes out at 60mbps or about 26GB per hour in real world situations. That's using the h.265/HEVC codec.

Are they worth it for the price? Recently, had a bike crash and ended with a big chunk of hospital bill and bike damage bill. Didn't even know who the **** did this to me.
