As of this morning, Specialized raised the MSRP of their men's Sirrus line (didn't look at any other models) by as much as $100 per model.

These are all current 2018 bikes also, not new 2019s. I've been checking daily to see the 2019s when they go live so I was surprised to see new pricing for what are still 2018 bikes.

it's a marketing strategy---raise the 2018 prices now, then when the 2019s come in mark them a Little higher ... then "discount" the 2018s, back to where they had been. Everything looks like a better deal.

maybe, but i dont recall specialized doing this the last couple years

With the price increase on the remaining 2018 models I assume SBC has not paid the bill yet and will see an increase from the supplier? Not sure how it works, but I am sure it works for SBC!
