Talking Great Info Here!

I have rode for many years, not really paying attention to actual fit, but what seemed comfortable to me. I quit riding for a couple of years because of some back issues and just started back riding late this spring.
I recently decided it was time for a new saddle and decided on a Stelle Italia Flite Flow Ti 316. After reading over this section many times I decided I would try to do this change myself.
Long story short, after a new seat post and many adjustments, pictures, the Girlfriend helping me with a 4 ft level ( and lots of weird looks), I think I have achieved the greatest ride position I've ever had. My butt stays planted on the seat and I'm not constantly readjusting. When i'm pulling hills i don't feel my ass slipping back on the seat and seems like I have more power and endurance. I will admit for the first 5miles of the initial ride everything felt very foreign to me but I decided to stick it out and give my body time to adjust and glad I did. I have 2- 20mile + rides in and can't be happier.
There is a lot of good information on this site if your willing to read and reread and put it into place. I thank all of you who have shared your knowledge on this board.

I love success stories. Getting a good fit is not always easy but it is always worthwhile.
