obvious question then is of course, where was Pokey? and did he slow your trips down by wont of his name?

Pokey had to stay home. My story is that he couldn't handle the high speed decants, but the reality is I got a complex from people seeing him when i was creeping along on past trips and people shouting "there's pokey!".

Has anyone used the Racktime BarIt? I'm looking for something suitable to carry a cable lock, a small camera, wallet, and sungalsses. I know it isn't waterproof, but I don't think I can afford the Ortlieb version.

looks perfectly fine, especially as it comes with a rain cover, pretty much solves the rain issue (heck, I used to use a home made plastic-bag-duct-tape cover and it worked fine)

This bike bag may surprise you

I bought OBOVA bike handlebar bag on Amazon and to be honest, with 25bucks, it gives way more value than what it costs comparing to more expensive of better known brands out there. Look up and check it out! The brand is OBOVA, selling on Amazon

I love my Carradice Super C. I've used it for tens of thousands of miles. Their quick release is great. No matter how much I put in my bag, I never feel like I'm pushing its capacity. Overall, its boxy and simple, but bombproof.

I have an Arkel bag. Pricey, but very sturdy and aluminum mounts instead of plastic like most other bags.
