Tornado watch!

Yikes, I just re-checked the weather, cause it's been weird here in Denver lately, and there's a tornado watch in effect, until 9:00 tonight (it's around 4:00 here now). 😲 If I wind up dead, or in Kansas, you'll know what happened. 🙄😁

There were tornados off in Iowa to my west a few weeks back. Be lucky the watch only goes until 9PM.

Few years back on Tour de Nebraska there was a watch, and towards evening the supercells could be seen building nearby....at about 1AM, Civil Defense sirens started going off, and we had to abandon camp for hardened shelter. Ended up lucky, camping out at what passed for the "high ground" of a school baseball diamond...the outfield was wet....but the infield (where some pitched) was flooded out and their on-ground gear was below water. Few extra inches of Earth was all it took.

I'd like to actually see one.
So far only the crappy remnants....
spent the night in a massage studio during a tornado on tour. It was in a mobile home trailer in the Flint Hills of Kansas. They also owned the convenience store next to the trailer.
It rocked back and forth most the night..

Thanks for the accomodations!

Ha, good stuff. 😁 I didn't die, but my phone did. I had to ride & walk about 20 miles, because I refuse to backtrack. I'm up on I-76 now, finally out of Denver. 🙂
I really had to go through it though, needed a bottom bracket bad, lol. Got one, and the tool, but still need to install it. I'm in a McDonald's now, figure I can wash up here later. 👍
