List of 650b drop bar bikes (larger tires)

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

List of 650b drop bar bikes (larger tires)

I once read an article about a prototype (may have been Cannondale or Specialized) with 650b wheels and they commented that it was very pleasant to ride. And I also read a comment from someone saying he tried 26", 27.5" and 29" wheel mountain bikes and found the 27.5" wheel size had the best advantages between the other two.

To me, my interest in 650b is more for the size of the tires to survive potholes or ride on grass when I feel like it.
In any case, I decided to make a list of 650b wheel drop bar bikes. I'm a bit surprised none of these have chainguards as they could be used for touring. For those wondering, Planet Bike does make a 650b fender capable of 1.9" tires.

Rocky Mountain Solo also available in 650b.

Fuji Jari seems to be compatible with 650b but can't understand their web site.

KHS Grit some models in 27.5"x47c.

Jamis Renegade smaller models in 650b.

Diamondback Haanjo some models in 650x47.

Cannondale Slate but dont' like their prices nor their weird one-sided fork.

Marin Four Corners smaller models in 650b. Marin Nicasio Ridge in 650bx47.

Louis Garneau Garibaldi AL Prohibition in 650bx47c.

Brodie Romulus, Remo, Tiber, Elan Vital in 650bx47.

Felt Breed in 650bx47c.

Masi Speciale Randonneur in 650x47mm and Giramondo in 27.5x2.1"

Kona Rove ST and others in that name range in 650bx47c.

Salsa Journeyman 650B with 27.5x2.1" tires.

I have a Breezer Doppler Team and it's a very nice ride with 650b X 47 tires. I've taken it on some gravel and muddy roads where I would have walked my road or touring bike or just turned around.

The Breezer Doppler line of bikes come fitted with fenders.

I bought a Slate a few years back, with the roads in as crappy shape as they are it's pretty wonderful to have such a smooth ride.
