"sealed/hidden" ratchet freehub cassette bodies
When disassembled, most freehub cassette bodies have exposed ratchets, either on the freehub body or on the hub barrel.
This when assembling the two sides, extra care must be taken to keep out dirt and dust as it will foul the mechanism.
Shimano protects their ratchets be sealing them inside the freehub cassette body.
Do any other makers do this?
What is the largest through axle that can be used on a shimano hub?
