1998 Cannondale R4000 (1), is it worth this...
Think this bike is worth $500? It is all Dura Ace except the rear hub is Ultegra. Looking for my first road bike. I want a Cannondale and want one built to last. is this a good deal or what should I offer. It is being sold by a LBS.

MSRP $2709
I generally go down to 20% of MSRP for these older bikes. 20% of $2709 is $540 so yes, $500 is an ok price.
Why does it have an Ultegra rear hub?

Does it fit? It wouldn't be a deal at $200 if it doesn't fit.

What's included with the bike?
While the price seems a little steep. Buying the bike from a shop ,ay include free tuneups, or the bike may have already been tuned up, and some fitting might be included.
Extras that are included, or you may ask for, and/or working the price down a little are what would make this a deal, or not...
