I'd get a Thudbuster seat post on that and take about 1/2 the hits away

Maybe a suspension stem ...

My bike shop had one that they ordered for a guy who is about 6'7", or so. It was the XXL, the smaller of the 2 sizes, and it was huge. I sat on it but didn't ride it, and it was too big for me,(I'm only 6'2"). I thought it was a really nice bike, especially for the money.
