Team Fuji fair value ?

What would everyone consider a fair value for this as pictured. Everything is working as new and there's very little wear on the components. New saddle, hoods, cages, and tires. All component original with the proper Suntour pedals also.

I have the right pedals

It's not mint but it's in really good shape. I'm just wondering how much this one would be worth, realistically.

$350 in my market, and it would take a while. Maybe more to the right buyer. Very attractive, good size, nice component group.

$300-$350 sounds about right.

Seller is in Utah? Might get more there. I would not sell that bike for $350. More.......and CL may, or may not be good in your area.

That's a beautiful bike. Considering it's a 12 speed Suntour equipped model with chrome fork crowns puts it somewhere in the early to mid 1980's. All of these Fuji bikes had Ishiwata steel frames. Ishiwata is not well understood by the vintage bike community. But, considering some famous Italian bikes were made with Ishiwata steel then, I would consider $500 a fair price for this bike.

I used to own a 1985 Team Fuji. They are nice bikes. But, most vintage Fuji bikes just do not have the collector value of comparable Italian, British, or American bikes.

Realistically, I think it would take a long, long time to get anywhere near $500 for that bike.

I really hope it stays that way. Because in my eyes Fuji's are an absulute bargain.

You also have to consider the components on the bike. I would pay $120 for the Hubs alone as they are some of the best I have ever used.

Well, just to add this as a data point to help others. I listed the bike at $400. I got a lot of interests but most balked once they realized where I live. It's a bit of a drive to my little mountain valley community from the Salt Lake City Area. Anyway, guy contacted me this morning and they just came by to look at it. Really loved the bike at first sight and then more so once he did a test ride. No bargaining needed, in fact he offered me another $20 over my asking price. Dang ethical me said no to that. I'm just glad to see it move on to someone that will love it. Good timing too because a few hours earlier I had picked up a 1990 Schwinn 684 to play around with. Still not making progress on downsizing the collection, lol!

So, in a nutshell. Bike sold for $400 no problem after listing for not even two weeks in the local classifieds.

Sounds right. Fuji is a very popular brand old or new.

Yeah, it was beautiful and everything worked great. But with an 85 Opus III permanently entrenched in my stable I had no issue letting this one go. Glad I was able to revive the old bike and get it back into a rider's hands.
