What is this?

This is a Fairdale Rockitship frame I recently built up. What's that little stud on the seat stay for? Is it to hang the chain on when the wheel is off the bike?

Chain hanger for when you remove the rear wheel.

Here you go - pretty happy with the way it came out. Don't love the natural color bar tape but it's getting dirty so quickly (gravel bike) that I'll replace it with black next year.

Rival crank, bb, derailler, levers. TRP Spyre brakes. DT Swiss wheels. The frame comes with the Enve Cross fork which is very nice. Salsa Cowbell 2 bars. Whisky carbon seatpost. The silliest thing I spent money on was the Chris King headset (the frame came with a headset but I wanted orange) and then the matching spacers with were ridiculously priced...haha. Tubeless setup went smoothly.

I like old road bikes but I could be a turncoat for that.
