Any campgrounds near Grandview, Tx?
I was considering doing a mini tour down to Waco and back to visit friends, and thought I would stop midway to camp each way. The true mid-point (I'm right next to Six Flags) is Grandview. I considered going down to Hillsboro, or maybe even hoofing it out to Lake Whitney, but at that point, I'd probably rather just ride straight to Waco. I'm trying to take it easy on myself here. Any ideas?

Yeah, that's what I thought. 
Any other suggestions for stopping points between FW and Waco? I'm pretty open. Would prefer camping for cheapness sake. I guess I wouldn't be opposed to "stealth" or wild camping. But then again, this is Texas. Might get shot.

If you're ok with stealth camping, there are doubtless plenty of places. Also, consider a small town church or VFD, they're usually pretty cool. Some stealth campers use cemeteries, every town has at least one of those.
