Ben, Merry Christmas to you and yours. No riding here today , we are in San Diego visiting our daughter, getting much needed rain. I didn’t even load a bike for the trip after seeing the weather report. Sitting in our motor home at Sweetwater camp listening to the rain , pure bliss .

Kabuki,
I hear you and back to you.....Our daughter has been home for several weeks for the holiday.....Our family is in the islands for Christmas and New Years, which has been our treat for the last 23 years.....this is the gift we give ourselves.....memories to us are more important than gifts, because they last forever.
The weather here is not looking good but surf is up and you can do that in the rain, (North Shore and Sandy Beach have been rocking!) and we are looking forward to visiting some of our family.....so all is good.
Enjoy the time with the family in SD.
Best, Ben

Happy and safe holidays to all. We are thankful for our health, the much needed rains in California and PNW, and the safety of all our bike riding friends around the world.

Hope everyone has a joyous Christmas, and Happy New Year!

This Christmas I am thankful for a wonderful family and friends.

I also thought about Scott Gabriel today and I hope his family is doing ok.

I'm going fly fishing tomorrow and using some of Scott's gorgeous flies.

Heh thanks! We are in the Twin Cities, actually St. Paul near the Mississippi.

We fished in Whitewater State Park and had a blast. Caught two Browns on flies from Scott.

The rest were stocked Rainbows in the 13 -16 inch range.

Had to blast out of there early though, as we have a winter storm brewing for tonight.
