Hello guys, need your advice about cable guiding on my vintage De Rosa Professional SLX –

I always run some liner on my bikes. Not as long as in you picture, but enough to save the paint.
If you are going to touch up the paint and remove the rust, I'd use liner, if not, just cable. The paint is already gone.

I'd at least clean it up a bit, the"must for rust" has a inhibitor of limited effectiveness. There are probably better ones. Otherwise it will just keep spreading under the paint.
The paint is gone, but damage is pretty much limited to the cable tracks.
