Fake Dogma?
Hello all. Im looking for someone that has a Pinarello Dogma F12 that I could view to compare with mine which has been deemed a fake by 2 local shops, Mainly wants to compare the front forks. Mine are really thin and sway a little while riding enough that It makes me nervous. TIA

The Pinarello serial number is located on the bottom bracket. Check with Pinarello to verify the serial number is valid. https://pinarello.com/usa/en/false-frames

Seems like some detail is needed.
Where did you get the bike?
(Presumably, it wasn’t from one of the shops you talked to.)

The OP is asking to see a genuine Dogma so it can be compared to the fake Dogma.
Seems pretty straight forward. If someone has a Dogma and wants to show the OP, then they can discuss further either here or via PM.
What more is needed?

I'm still trying to get over the forks swaying a little. How would one know for sure? I've never come close to ever suspecting a fork wasn't strong enough for the loads. The only time anything involving the fork was an issue, the headset was loose.
Can't you find pictures of a Dogma on Pinarello's site or google some up for what ever year model it is?

Well if you didn't get it at an authorized Pinarello dealer that is a bad sign they don't sell elsewhere. If it was a used bike than you could post pictures (by getting involved with the many active threads and making 5+5 posts) and someone could take a look but you might also consider checking the serial number with Pinarello themselves or sending the photos to them.
Obviously if you are having fork issues hopefully the shop had checked them out and made sure it was actually the fork and not poor adjustment or something else. In the end though if two shops are saying it is fake that isn't good odds.

I tried this. they said it does not match the US Pinarello numbers but said it could still be real but from another country?? I bought this bike on ebay but since its been more than 30 days, ebay wont help. Seller wont respond back. Im trying to do a reverse charge with my business mastercard. Hopefully they take care of me.

It matches up as a 2020 model. If this bike is fake, they did a good job making it. I would have never known if I didnt take it to a bike shop to tighten the headset. This is also when they showed me the forks and how much they flex. One shop deemed it a hazard to ride

The serial number is the best way, IMO.
OP, I would contact the factory for more info about the bike---what color and size was it, if they save and will release that info.
Whether the bike is real or fake, if the forks are flexing, something happened, either in the factory, the fake factory, or in a post-purchase accident. Don't crash ... whether it is a Pinarello or a Chinarello, if it is not safe to ride don't ride it, would be my advice. Not sure how to fix or how much that might cost, but fork failure is a very serious thing.

I once bought a supposed 2016 Cervelo R5 internationally on eBay. To be fair, it was a Cervelo with the Cervelo seriel number even. What it was not was a 2016 R5. It was a prior year lower model painted to look like the much sought after 2016 R5. The wrong frame shape in the bottom bracket area, the way too heavy weight, & the far too thick too high gloss clear coat over the wrong color red was the tell. That and the cut & respliced together steer tube.
Even if it is a genuine Pinarello, it could be a misrepresented Pinarello. In which case you could be safe & fine. Just a little ripped off. In any case, a replacement fork for piece of mind wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
I wish you luck in a better than expected resolution.
