ZZ Boulder Bicycle Power Source - 37 year no-charge 11 ounce
ZZ Boulder Bicycle Power Source - 37 year no-charge 11 ounce

Boulder Bicycle is pleased to announce a new bicycle lighting energy source providing essentially a lifetime of illumination with no charging or drag from a dynamo. The 11 ounce power source is an enclosed disc-like sealed unit that can fit conveniently in a small portion of a typical handlebar bag. An alternative fork-mounted mounting plate to house the power source will be made available on Boulder Bicycles, Rene Herse Bicycles, and to other framebuilders.

Unlike a battery, this unit generates enough power to keep an Edeluxe II headlight operating at full output for an estimated 37 years without replacement. The best description of the technology used for this product would be Lattice Enabled Nuclear Reaction (LENR). LENR is essentially a variant of Cold Fusion, now a maligned science suffering from poorly conceived experiments in 1989. Subsequent developments in this field by Boulder-based scientists were ignored, and they agreed to share their innovations with Boulder Bicycle in a “Beta Test” in what we expect to be the first commercially viable product benefiting from their research efforts.

Price: $485.00

I just saw that it in my inbox and, has I hadn't taken a sip of my coffee yet, it took me a few seconds of head scratching to figure it out.... Very hilarious.

Read to the end. This is even better!!

Work has been proceeding in order to bring perfection to the crudely conceived idea of a machine that would not only supply inverse reactive current for use in unilateral phase detractors, but would also be capable of automatically synchronizing cardinal grammeters. Such a machine is the "Turbo-Encabulator."
The original machine had a base-plate of prefabulated amulite, surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two spurving bearings were in a direct line with the pentametric fan. The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots in the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a nonreversible trem'e pipe to the differential girdlespring on the 'up' end of the grammeters.
Forty-one manestically spaced grouting brushes were arranged to feed into the rotor slipstream a mixture of high S-value phenylhydrobenzamine and 5% reminative tetryliodohexamine. Both of these liquids have specific pericosities given by P = 2.5C.n^6-7 where n is the diathetical evolute of retrograde temperature phase disposition and C is Cholmondeley's annular grillage coefficient. Initially, n was measured with the aid of a metapolar refractive pilfrometer, but up to the present date nothing has been found to equal the transcendental hopper dadoscope. Undoubtedly, the turbo-encabulator has now reached a very high level of technical development. It has been successfully used for operating nofer trunnions. In addition, whenever a barescent skor motion is required, it may be employed in conjunction with a drawn reciprocating dingle arm to reduce sinusoidal depleneration.

Don't forget the new Regina freewheel also offered by Boulder Bike....

We do have concerns regarding this freewheel. Regina is rumored to be using a magnetic flange interface for the ratcheting mechanism. This is untested technology. Also, the cogs themselves have a high concentration of Beryllium which, if dust is emitted, can be highly toxic and even fatal upon contact with some individuals. Check with your doctor to see if you are allergic to Beryllium dust prior to purchase.

I signed up to run the Portland Marathon, so I get emails from them. Today's email excitedly revealed that actress, Jennifer Lawrence (American Hustle, Hunger Games & Silver Linings Playbook of recent) would be joining us to run the marathon this year. There was a "click here' link for more details.....of course - she's not.
