Rode with 40 teammates and had pizza and beer afterwards, good times. Kept it easy for the most part. About 3.5 hours, 160 TSS

I raced 3 times today. I'm tired and sunburned (but thankful the warm weather returned). Currently eating pizza and drinking wine so I can get up do the same tomorrow!

Next time wave after I win the sprint!!

Actually I don't remember seeing anyone wave, but I do have good news - a new guy on our team waves at EVERYONE on rides, so you're in luck.

it was at the beginning on foothill. i cut off after the roberts sprint because my body is frail... i was chattin it up with your e3 minions tho i think he's racing on hip team this year. it was quite fun mixing it up with them on that sprint.

Great description in your strava title! You are ready for an Ironman now (minus the swimming and running)

There are easier ways to make sure you don't have any more than the kids that are on the way. Crazy strong work.

Sprints today, little ring only.

When I do sprints I can hit a higher max wattage in my little ring than I do in the big ring. Does that mean I should try a smaller gear when starting to sprint?

Probably. Some people just have a good jump (or weigh more) and are able to get on top of that gear faster. I don't really have a sprint so have been doing a lot of standing starts and sprint workouts this winter.

raced today. short 80min/30 mile race. I didn't feel great but whatever. After the race my ankle is the only more-than-soreness injury from yesterday. Little tendonitis or something.

FTP test today. After a very "off" off season, and pretty much failing my last test (in which I said screw it and set my ftp to 255, which was a lot higher than my average for the 20 minutes), I was able to set it back to right where I was at this time last February. 275 for 20 minutes today, so 262

My workouts just got harder..but it just makes me more excited to start racing again..just another month and a half until the first club race.

yep, but it's really a different workout. hitting 30" peaks and then coasting trains something different vs (if you're doing it right) muted peaks but recovery at effort.

depends on how steep it is, but knowing a bit about you i'm assuming it will be steep enough that you have to go upper endurance/low-tempo at a minimum.

have fun!

they didn't have to get any harder. just ride at the low end of whatever zone you are targeting with your new FTP instead of the upper end with your slightly lower FTP. boom-done!
